The last time I was in the Kruger Park I was probably about 14. I remember it was so hot that my Dad made us go and stand in the walk-in fridge section of the camp grocery store to cool down. It hit 46 degrees I think? And I remember driving, lots and lots of driving. At 28 (nearly 29) I have discovered there is still a lot of driving, but you feel that you can’t whine quite as much as when you were a kid as it may seem immature. However, on the plus side, since the last time I was a guest at the Kruger I have learnt to drive which means I can now relegate my folks to the back seat while I drive at 30km an hour for three hours at a time, much more fun!
