Kruger Park, a couple of pics

The last time I was in the Kruger Park I was probably about 14. I remember it was so hot that my Dad made us go and stand in the walk-in fridge section of the camp grocery store to cool down. It hit 46 degrees I think? And I remember driving, lots and lots of driving. At 28 (nearly 29) I have discovered there is still a lot of driving, but you feel that you can’t whine quite as much as when you were a kid as it may seem immature. However, on the plus side, since the last time I was a guest at the Kruger I have learnt to drive which means I can now relegate my folks to the back seat while I drive at 30km an hour for three hours at a time, much more fun! Day 5 to 7: The Plettenbergonions

After leaving Dyl’s with a slight sense of surrealism that accompanies a beer induced hangover, I stopped at Nanaga Farm Stall. Anyone who travels between PE and Grahamstown knows Nanaga, usually intimately. They make the best pies in the land, and what better way to quell throbbing temples?
